Founder's Story

I entered the world of work washing floors at the age of 15. A sometime sales assistant, balloon artist, receptionist and waitress, I found my way to a cross-sector international career in People leadership within some of the largest organisations in the world.
 
After 20 years as a Corporate Executive I established my own consulting and advisory business, unlearning a corporate mindset to translate my experience and capability into practical, pragmatic solutions for growth.
 
I learned how to build workplace cultures from scratch, rooted in clear organisational purpose, mission and values. I felt the realities of a tight balance sheet. I learned how to build compelling employer value propositions centred on win-win, nurturing employment experience.
 
I learned to lead in a more purposeful, impactful, human-centric way. And, it led to better organisational performance.
 
Most recently, as a leader and Chief People Officer in private equity backed businesses, I am known for the development of workplace experience that transforms business growth and performance. This has now become a personal mission – to restore organisational vitality, in every sense of the word, through deeper human, emotional connection with the content and context of work. After all, our ongoing prosperity – physical, emotional and financial – depends on it.
 
My work has been recognised in a number of ways, but ultimately, this was all driven by the great teams I have built. The kudos is theirs.
